Are you in the states Jayp7? If so, about how much does it cost for shipping paints and putty from Japan to the US? I live here in Las Vegas, NV...shipping for paints does come pricy as it does get heavy when you start buyin more paints...they come in glass bottles and thinner comes in a big bottle when i buy so i spend like 30-40 bucks when it comes to shipping...so i do tend to place a big order so i have enough stock to get me through for a while before i have to order from them again....

I'm not very artistic. pretty sad for a lefty. How artistic do you have to be to do customs? Whats the dificulty level.

Do some of you use tape for your painting to keep the lines crisp?
If so what kind of tape do you use? can I just use regular masking tape?

Excellent comments here... Some of you might want to split out your future questions into separate threads though... since you now have an entire SECTION for customs related how-to's, questions, etc....

I use regular painters blue tap for chunky parts and it works pretty well, but I would like to fine something else that works for detail, like that pinstripe tape they use on cars? Where the heck do you get that?
