I'm sure you've all heard the audio by now, if you haven't heard the audio PM me for a link to the uncensored audio. For those that have heard it, what do you make of Bale's outburst? I've read reports defending both sides and even though I think Bale should not have gone that far, I understand that he takes his work incredibly serious. He is intense. It makes me laugh though that Bale yells at McG who is the director, to deal with the guy and it sound like he scared of bale lol My oh My Batman!

I mean for him to get mad like that, is seriously just crazy. I mean Nolan never had this problem, the director should have command on his set

exactly, McG shouldn't have DOP just walking around the set like that. I hope this movie turns out OK but I don't have high hopes. I love Bale but I think McG is a weak director and isn't use to handling dark films. I hear there's plans for a Charlie's Angels 3 though. lol

I do not know the story, but from what I have heard Bale(who I love.) has an attitude. And I have heard McG has quite the big ego. So that will and can clash.

I was just pointing out that McG should have done something to defuse the situation instead of just sitting there and doing nothing. I don't think McG and Bale were fighting it was strictly Bale and the DOP. If I had the lead role of a multimillion franchise movie and something like this happened, I would expect the director to have my back instead of sitting there and yelling " I didn't see what happened" and then let the situation deteriorate any further .

Happened last July on the Terminator Salvation set in a pivotal emotional scene between Bale and Bryce Dallas Howard and this DOP ruined the scene by walking into frame.

Totally unprofessional of Bale. Dude's got issues, and I've lost respect for him due to this.

I still think Bale was in the right to a degree. Did he go too far? yes, but apparently this was the second time this guy wandered into a scene during production and Bale had had enough. It's common sense though, how do you miss a whole crew shooting a scene with actors and wander into a scene when you are a DOP? totally amateur and unprofessional.

Well, from experience in the field of movies, if there are two camera's going on or even three or four at different locations on set it was understandable to a degree. For example in LA with the transformers shoot in downtown LA, There were five cameras going on at the same time with different locations, but the DP to go into the shot aimlessly was like wtf?
I'd say that Bale was unprofessional, yet understandable, while the DP was a complete idiot, yet if your getting paid oodles of money, your focus better be on the objective, thats a multibillion movie there, but the damage was done already. Tabloids and media have gotten hold of hit.

I'm on Bale's side for this one. I've worked on plenty of sets where this kind of chewing out is the norm - and if that DP had walked through a scene TWICE (the mind boggles) then he deserved it. The producers should be screaming at him too, every wasted second costs mucho dollors on these movies.
