I posted this on one of the other threads, but didn't get a response, so I'll post it here. Does anyone know if the SDCC Muggs were supposed to be plastic? I just recently got my Commander Gree and Fertility Idol from hasbrotoyshop.com and the heads were both plastic. The Gree has the vinyl body, but the head seems plastic. The Idol is entirely plastic. Has anyone else encountered this. I am assuming that all the Gree's from Comic Con have the plastic head based on the shiny head pictures that I have seen everywhere. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't get screwed from hasbrotoyshop.com.

I don't think Muggs were every really made out of vinyl... but yes, they are supposed to be plastic.

yeah....all muggs are plastic....which is even better because you can paint all over it without the paint chipping

Ok, I guess plastic was the wrong word choice. My Commander Gree head and Fertility Idol are much lighter and made out of a different material than all of my other muggs. The other MM's that I have all have a soft feel to them, these two have a slick hollow feel. The plastic is a lot shinier also, I am assuming that they are all like this, but was not sure.

Is this how all the Gree and Idol's are then? I would really like to know. All of the pictures I have seen seem to have the shiny plastic head on them. It seems stupid to me to change the way that they are made.

My SDCC Iron Man & Comm. Gree were both like that. It through me off because of how light they were. I sat there weighing the SDCC Muggs in one hand and my other Muggs in the other hand, just to make sure I wasn't crazy!

Why would I leave them in the boxes? I like the way that they look and I don't really care to keep them in the boxes. That doesn't make any sense to me. I can display the boxes separately. I have never understood the whole "keep them mint" in their box perspective. I'm sorry that I didn't have the time to comb all the other forums for the answer, hence, why I posted it here.
