What about Mighty Muggs bothers you? Sure, we talk about why we love these awesome toys, but what annoyances do you have with the brand, if any at all? I may be in a small minority, but I, personally, cannot stand the capes. Most of my caped Muggs have difficulty standing up on their own, including my latest caped acquisition from the Star Wars line, Darth Vader 2.0... I can't even put his cape on him, as it makes him fall foward and it's simply too loose to begin with. The proper solution for this situation is better molded capes; they always push the character forward, so adding weight to the back of the cape to prevent the character from falling face first might be nice. How exactly you do this while still looking visually attractive is an issue, though I'm sure the big wigs at Hasbro could come up with something. When I see a cape on an upcoming Mugg, I groan (nooo Cobra Commander)... though Vision's cape is friggin' sweet and well molded. Anything you secretly wish Hasbro would improve or do away with? Try to be constructive, as Hasbro would likely listen to this topic. Thanks!

Nice topic zoop....i think my biggest gripe would be that on the muggs where the hands come off, luke 2.0 and vader 2.0, you cannot remove the lightsaber from the removable hand. why not?? to me it make no sense. im sure that hasbro has a reason...and maybe a fellow board member has an answer too. but i hope in the future, say with a wampa...that his arm and accessory can both be separated.

Hey Zoop, The plastic on the capes is pretty soft. If you flex and curl it a but (like a baseball glove) you can make it more curved, and it won't puch the toy over. The capes are pretty durable, don't be shy!

one of my pet peeves is with doc ock because he is very back heavy, and you cant really stand him up where all 4 of his tentacles are visible, so you have to put one of the lower ones back so that he stands. And honestly i dont know if its just mine but im not a big fan of it.

Kudos on the fresh topic, Zoop(Don't know your real name).
Pet peeves for me are:
I hate going into a store and finding the whole wave in multiples. But none of the one I need. For example, at Walmart no Skrull. I don't know if that is trully a fitting answer to this, but it annoys me.
Other than that, I can't complain to much. I definitely understand the cape problem. Also the Doc Oct fiasco.
Oh and I would like more Marvel villains soon. (Sabretooth, Mystique, Juggernaut, Loki, Bulleyes, etc.)

My only peep is why Might Muggs are so hard to find in Canada. Anyway, try to dip the cape in warm/hot water and once its soft, adjust it so that it is the same height as the Mugg.

Hmm... Probably Paint Applications. I hate it when I have bad paint, because it is usually on the back of the Mugg and I can't see it outside of the box.

Hmmm.... with such a wide and varied line, it's actually difficult for me to come up with gripes or complaints. (I do agree that the shape or weight of the capes might be an issue, but for me anyway, it doesn't rise to the level of complaint).
While I recognize that the "hard heavy head" vs. "soft head" might also be an issue for some (especially those hardcore Vinyl fans), it is not that high a priority for me either (though I was worried it might be a warning sign of cost cutting, which I haven't seen much further evidence of as yet.
I can't even comment about shoddy paint applications ... (gee, I sound like a Hasbro shill today! LOL). Actually, I've gotten great paint jobs on all of the Muggs I've purchased (including those bought sight unseen online). Whether I've been lucky or not, I will leave to others to decide.
Hmmm.... I guess my only complaint is that some key licenses are outside of Hasbro's legal rights.
I had to assemble my own Justice League and Legion of Doom because of a lack of DC comic superheroes to compliment the official Marvel ones. Similarly, it would be great if we had Star Trek Muggs and several other licenses (which we spoke about in several threads over the months).
So all I want is ..... more!

My cape solution: make the cape wavy on the bottom. This will provide stability AND it will look cool, like a superhero cape in the wind. Another pet peeve I have is poorly molded accessories, or poorly molded parts of the body. Examples: any helmet, Galactus' head, Cap Am's shield, light sabers, etc... Thor's helmet is very badly damaged, and as Joe stated, you can't tell until you get them out of the box.

Boba having to punch his prey instead of blasting them - that bothers me.

Boba having to punch his prey instead of blasting them - that bothers me. I agree. Still boogles my mind how/they didn't give him a gun!?!?

it has only happened twice, but my peeve is when the head of the mugg is stuck and wont turn. Unfortunately one of my SDCC iron man muggs will never be able to stand side profile ready to kick some butt :-(
Would also like to see hasbro make up a range of weapons/ accessories for the muggs e.g., a blaster for boba, a gun for indy, treasure for indy, bent metal bars for the thing or hulk, a chain whip for ghost rider etc...

I had major issues with paint jobs, especially greivous. I also had an arm issue, poor Obi's left arm got very wobbly after he was in combat with Darth, now he can only hold his saber with his right arm. And I can't play with Stormy cause he gets dirty waaay to easy, maybe an easy wipe clean paint gloss over him? My Leah is the old vinyl head which makes her VERY top heavy and she topples over easily... especially with those buns...LOL other than that thats all I got.

I've posted it in a few other threads, and I feel as though I'm a minority here, but I dislike the growing complexity of the designs. I fear that The Vision and The Punisher won't fit in well with Iron Man and The Thing. All this extra shadowing (that's directed at you, First Appearance Iron Man) is unnecessary. I'm not sure if Hasbro/the designer (who's name eludes me) is aware, but most of us have light sources where we place our Muggs. So now I've got shadows coming from all directions. And please Hasbro, no more fake muscles. The Hulk and The Thing are getting self conscious that scrawny guys like The Vision and Cyclops are more visibly ripped than they are. Look at other lines, like Munnys and Qee's. They break the mold, a la Galactus, but they remain consistent. I want all my Muggs to fit together. So, please, a return to the original formula that hooked all of us in the first place. And if you can't do this, please find me someone to custom paint muscles onto my Hulk.

Biggest pet peeve by far was the demise of INDY Line.
As for the "New" look of giving Muggs all that shadowing.. I tend to agree. I like that they are getting them more detailed, but limiting it would make me happy.
Punisher looks like he got an uneven tan.
The first thing I thought when I saw Biggs Darklighter was, why is he sweating so bad? Looks like he's got horrible sweat stains under his pits and in his "area"..... I thought it was cold in space?
