RentonEther, if you like Manga you should chek out the Lone Wolf and Cub series. I belive it's being printed under the title of "Shogun Assassin" now. That's some old stuff there. Not saying that's bad, just that its a nice reference. I wouldn't mind reading it, but I just borrow what manga my friend has. I do remember seeing some Lone Wolf and Cub bound as GN volumes. I doubt there all that easy or cheap to find.

Are there any good Boba Fett GNs? Or maybe Sith centered storylines GNs? Off the top of my head, and what I've read, there's a Darth Maul GN that is centered around his nasty deeds before Episode One. There's also the same for Jango Fett (with Ep. 2, respectfully.) Seriously, if you can grab the Star Wars tales volumes, do so. There's stuff in there for everyone, whether its Sith, or otherwise. Remember everyone, if you have a library in your local vicinity, check their stock! ITS FREE. They also can transfer titles from all around your state. At least you can here in good old Ohio.

Youn can find Lone Wolf and Cub at borders of all places for cheap. If you have netflix you can find the lone wolf and cub movies from the 70's. only if you enjoy old samurai cinema.

I strongly suggst Batman Hush Vol 1 & 2... Best toys ever made along with best Graphic Novel.
Currently reading the Batman Chronociles Volume 5. All the comics from the 1940's era. Getting grittier then the first 4 volumes. I wouldn't recommend unless you really into Batman though.
& maybe it is just me, but I wasn't into Watchmen. I read it in the past year so maybe out of context w/current times from its original release. Can't wait for the movie, if it gets out of the court room and into theaters as planned.

Umbrella Academy was pretty awesome. It's kind of like a Wes Anderson version of a team of super heroes. Very off the wall but very cool. They fight the Eiffel Tower in the first issue. The characters are great too.
Think of The Royal Tennenbaum's meets Beetlejuice meets the Justice League.

Guy should ditch the music and take a stab at writing comics full-time.

I am glad that I picke dit up cuz it was well worth it. I am reading the second arc now.

I prefer HC's to paperback. But should I just buy the paperback to make sure I like it?

The HC is all of the first arc, but so is the trade paperback. I'm not sure what else is inside the HC for $80, but they both contain the same story. I think the HC may have some extra short stories that were never published.
If your into quirky stuff that's fun, I would say it's a safe bet just to buy the trade. It's only like $20. I would have a hard time spending 80 on a book that I have never even read before, so go with the trade.
The second arc, called "Dallas" started in November I think. The 3rd issue should be out in the next couple of days.
I saw that you are reading Walking Dead. Do you LOVE that or what? That book is like crack. I wait for the big HCs to come out and then read them in like an hour. It's such a page turner.
