Hello all, I have been wanting to try a custom out for awhile now. I was able to get a cairo muggs cheap so i figured id give it a go. I decided to do a jawa and make use of the skirt mugg. heres my steps: 1. Primed with Krylon spray paint primer, grey. (2 coats) 2. Taped off the hands and the inside of the hood part. 3. Sprayed with Gloss Brown Krylon spray paint. (2 coats) 4. Removed tape, and hand painted hands and inside of hood black. This is where i am right now (see PIC below) Now, i still need to do the eyes. Thats where i think i need some help. What is the best way to get yellow on top of black?? any idea and suggestions would be great. Also i would like to do some shading, to make it look a bit more realistic. Any tips? I know we have several amazing artists/customizers here, i would love to hear some of your ideas/comments. Thanks a lot

It's hard to paint over black with light colors like yellow. You should have taped the eye region first. What you could try is perhaps find those plastic sheets that you can print something on and then remove it from the sheet to another surface.

You could try painting on white as a base for the yellow.
Just an idea but a quick small spray of yellow over white could give a nice glowing effect.
