OK Loungers, we're now at 5 Mugg lines and counting... How does THAT effect your collecting choices (and your ever shrinking wallets)? Any completists now having second thoughts? Have you calculated how much shelfspace you might need now??  Here's your chance to think out loud.... Given the explosion of new Mugg lines, adding to our Muggverse, who's definitely going to be in YOUR collector's radar... and who (if anyone) will get voted off of Mugg Island?? The rest of the tribe wants to know!!  |

Im going to try and stick to just star wars and indy....but GI joe may draw me in. depends how quickly they churn out the other two lines.

I love all of these lines and have gotten almost all of the Marvel and SW ones and have 2/3
Indy ones but I think I'll just expand to Transformers even though some of the Joes ones look phenominal

My problem is that at first I was just going to get all Marvel and a few SW. Then I saw the Lando and thought it was funny, so I started grabbing all the SW's I could. I would take our grocery list and go to shop at Wal-Mart. Throw out a few things and grab a MM in it's place. I would get my gas cards at Wal-Mart too and use my budgeted gas $$$ for a MM. My wife would be like "wow, we need to budget more for gas I guess?" He He!!!
Now I'm hooked on these little guys and I want to buy all the line ups! Still have a long way to go though!

I was doing Marvel only. Then I got the bug last week and bought about a dozen SW Muggs and the 3 Indy Muggs, thinking I was gonna try to go for them all, exclusives included. Now after seeing the new expansions to Transformers and GI Joe, I'm calling uncle. I'm taking the SW and Indy Muggs back where I got them (still have the receipts) and sticking with Marvel only. I kid you not. I can't do it anymore.

Star Wars is a must. As is Marvel. Indy is on the fence. I have to have the TFs but the Completest in my is screaming to get it all. My wife is screaming... she's just screaming.

She sounds like she would enjoy meeting with hardrockcafe's wife!!! Happy to report that my wife thinks Muggs are "really cute".... (though will that "cuteness" hold up as I get more???)

The wife loved them at first but love faded away as my collection got larger. She did say that the Wedding Muggs in the Custom Thread were great and she wants to get some made of us. Women... natures ever-flipping coin.

My gal likes driving me around at 2am from Walmart to Walmart looking for Muggs, though she is a bit confused as to where we'll put them all once they start piling up.
I voted SW, Marvel, and Joe. I might be selective with Indy from now on and I'll only buy a few TF.

Wow...the TF and G.I.Joe Muggs is a must buy for me now...I think I will grab all of those when I saw the pictures of SDCC. Luckily I never collect Indy, and just have few of my favorites of the SW, Vader, Bobba, Jango, Grievous, Yoda, Lando & Emperor (these two come in set with other), plus few Marvel: Spidey, Wolverine, The Thing, and Wave 3 on the way. I will only collect my favorite muggs from SW and Marvel from now onwards... have to save more $ and space for TF and G.I.Joe. Hope Hasbro will not release the new waves so fast...needs time to breath.  |
