I don't know if anyone here has followed the progress of the new Ghost Busters game but Activision said they no longer want to publish it. The team making it say they are still working on it but now they need a new publisher. Hopefuly it gets released next year around the 25th anniversery of the first film.

Wow... can't believe it's almost been 25 years..... (then again, it seems like only yesterday that I saw Star Wars back in '77!!)

Yeah, they'll still be working on it and shop the finished product around for a publisher... My prediction is that Take 2 will pick it up. Even if the game is bad, it's bound to sell well. It's a new addition to the Ghostbusters franchise.

Well, it's still coming guys. I'd imagine it's even still in development, they just need a distributor at this point.

I'm not worried. I've already paid off a copy at my local store. GB Muggs with little Proton-Packs and PKE meters would be great for the 25th anniversery.

Terminal Reality announced today that the game has a publisher but they cannot say who. I don't care who as long as it comes out.

Atari's ressurection of the game is official! Looking at a mid 2009 release date that coincides with the 20th anniversery of the movie. new trailer looks great!
