Seriously, if I went to Target and anyone tried giving me some crap, I would probably blow a gasket. These things are too hard to find. I would lose it. They would feel the force of the Yeti's paw! Yarrrgghhhh! *Is scared*

I just went to a local Target today and had no problem getting my wave 3, infact I called before hand and the supervisor/mgr of the dept put them on hold for me.

Now THAT sounds like a friendly Target! (unlike the store originally described)

Two of my Target's now have a collectible policy posted (Eagle Rock and Glendale, CA - L.A. area). It's something to the effect of, "Due to some items being collectible, team members are not allowed to check the stock room."
It's longer than that, but that's the point. However, it does not list any quantity limitations.
I've had a terrible time at my Target's getting the new figures - they NEVER put out new stock, and they've all been terribly unfriendly when I ask (very politely) if they have any of the new figures. I'd go elsewhere, but there's nowhere else to go (TRU is worthless here).

That is too bad, my target and wal mart are pretty friendly out here. When i asked about muggs the target guys would call the stock room and asked it to be brought out then they would let me look through it. They even let me in on collector tips and secrets lol. The only time i dont have a problem with collector policy is during special releases like midnight specials or other crap like that.

Ew. But I think I have a similar policy enacted at my local Target, though not posted.
Went in yesterday and used that in store scanner dealy, and it told me there were more Star Wars Muggs in the back, so I asked someone to go check. They used they're hand scanner and told me there was nothing in the back and they're under the same SKU ad the Marvel ones.
Now that would be impossible since I heard him mumble something about '5 in stock on shelves' (the number of Marvel ones that happened to be on the shelf)
Rawr.

The guy at Target told me their scanner system updates like 4-6 hours after somethin is taken from the back room. So it wouldnt really be impossible. He pulled a mugg box of 4 for me and said that a customer would probably come in later, scan a mugg, and still see there were some in the back when there really isn't because of the late inventory update. Supposedly target lists all muggs as an assortment so they cant specify which they have and they have the same sku.

Except I've scanned them every day for about a week and have seen that they've had them in the back, none have been put out and none have been sold. Yesterday was just the first time I asked :-p

The Target price scanner....you bring a Mugg (or the barcode where the Muggs should be) over to the price scanners located throughout the store. Scan the code, and it tells you if there are Muggs in the stockroom.
Also, has numbers like 3-2-2 or 4-2-2....does anyone know what that means?

Oh, I don't think we have scanners in our store. Even though they re-made it and made it awesome lol.

You know I tried this in my local Target and all I got was a price with no other info. Even in TRU they have the scanner set up so when you press the left button it calls an employee.

They're called DCPI Product codes Collectors for other lines swap these numbers as a way of quickly telling the store's stockboy's EXACTLY what they want and if it is in stock!
