I'm picky about my boxes to the extreme. I would be standing in a store inspecting boxes for an hour if I have to. However, I will buy a damaged box if I intend to open the figure. Doesn't matter anyways. I hate opening up cases of Mighty Muggs that looks perfect on the outside only to find that a box is dinged on the inside. Opened up three cases that looked perfect the other day and found all the black suited spider-man had dings. Just him and no one else. I image those boxes were just shoved into the cases at the factory for that to happen.

I look for boxes that are in very good, but not necessarily perfect, shape. I've bought muggs, taken them home, then bought the same mugg in a better box and returned the first one. But badly beaten boxes I leave alone.

Bad boxes are the only thing keeping me from having all Muggs that are out so far. If only you could have seen the horror on my face when I spent several minutes inspecting all the boxes of ones I wanted and then at the check-out the walmart cashier took my basket and flipped the whole thing over violently onto the counter spilling my muggs everywhere. I think I sighed out loud. Everytime I see that cashier now I will go to another lane even if it means waiting longer..........she is definatley off the Christmas card list!
