OK, to be blunt, I suck at painting. I need a... "Marker" solution. Like, well, a marker. I heard Sharpies wear off with a simple wipe.
So, any markers work on Muggs?

Paint marker? Those work but you have to be patient between drying time. Theres several brands at your local Michaels (stay away from sharpie brand)

I used paint markers on the detailling of my Deadpool, my Commander Riker and my X-Force Wolvie and they worked great but you really really have to be patient like Allykitten said. Being impatient is the reason i'm doing Deadpool all over.

I think those should work, also if you do decide to go to Michaels they always have a 40% off coupon in the sunday paper. Something to think about

I'm curious if these "paint markers" are shiny in their finished product or not. You might recall we had a "lively" (Sheesh!) discussion of Sharpies and those-customizers-that-use-them and the key point some Loungers had issue with was the almost reflective nature of the finish they produced (versus any matte finish over the rest of the Mugg).

I just won a lot of 25 acrylic paints.. will definitely have to investigate these markers as well. (While I will continue to utilize some of our talented Lounge customizers' skills, I will definitely try my hand at some of the easier ones .. and some really obscure ones too!

Copic markers are used a lot by illustrators/comic artists. They're rather expensive in sets but they are of a really nice quality. Not too sure how well they will cover/stay on plastic though.
But worth a shot.

I've used those, while they're amazing on paper, it's alot like the Prisma and Faber Castell. They're meant for illustration...they miiiiiiiight work for fine lines detail after the paint is applied (which I hadn't thought of using before) so I'll mess with them.

I use DecoColor, ZIG Painty and Tree House Studio paint markers. They all worker great. Personally I like the Tree House Studio ones the best. Picked them up at a local Hobby Lobby. The thing I really like about these markers is that when my base coat is black and I need to make black accent lines they show up awesomely.
