As things have been slow on the Mugg front lately I was searching for new Muggs info. Sadly I didn't find any. I did find a link that shows many of the upcoming Transformer toys presented at the 09 Australian Toy Fair. March 20-23. www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=3852This shows pictures of most the Transformers Toys planned for release this year. I personally don't collect Transformers, but thought some might find it interesting. About 3/4 down he does mention Muggs, but nothing new other then he believes they are making Movie related Transformer Muggs instead of canceling the line. If this is old news sorry. Mods feel free to delete or move if in wrong category.

Excellent find skipper. Let's hope this news pans out in the future. We've al read the vague statements made by Hasbro but that's what big companies do. They speak in vague, non-descript, lawyer talk. I don't think muggs are dead yet.
Transformers could be on hold because of the pending movie. The same could be said for X-Men w/ the Wolverine movie and Star Wars has the Cartoon I'm sure they would love to squeeze more Muggs out of that. The Problem I think I see is that all the properties that the Muggs are Focusing on all have new stuff going on. Wether it be Movies, cartoon or even rumored live action re-boots. When stuff like this happens the studio's marketing people get involved in everything. These same marketing people tend to have to taste what-so-ever and eventually ruin everything. Just look at any Movie tie-in game. I'm ranting... need coffee and some quiet time. See you guys around.
