For those Lounge Muggies also interested in cartoony stylized items in a smaller scale, like minimates and SuperHero Squad, the various Imaginext Batman figures (Robin, Joker, Penguin), vehicles (batmobile, cycle, jokermobile.copter) and even the Batcave are hitting the stores (and available online directly from Mattel - Fisher Price. They're virtually the same scale as Superhero Squad (a little taller since the legs aren't perpetually bent at the knees). Here's someone else's photo of Superman for scale: And here's the "official" pic of the batcave: Allright, I admit it, I broke down and ordered the batcave and all of the figures earlier today (will cave in on the batmobile and copter later). The worst of it is that I want them to make the rest of the Justice League .. for an Avengers/JLA crossover!! Oh why, can't I be content with just my minimates and "serious" Marvel Legends/DC universe figures being in the same scale !!! The next thing you know, I'll want DC Mighty Muggs (or as close as Mattel can get to legally producing them).. oops.. too late... I want them too! My wife is VERY understanding ... but that batcave is rather large ...

I know what you mean. For years, I was only into "serious" figures (and I still collect Marvel Legends and DC Universe classics, not to mention the pricey 13" DC Direct figures). Then, I found myself compelled to collect minimates (both DC and Marvel for now) even though my only exposure to a more cartoony style was animated JLU figures. Then it was the Superhero Squad figures in the "cartoony" niche... my preference for having comparable scaled DC and Marvel is what's making me extend into this Imaginext line. Similarly, if something resembling Mighty Muggs for DC superheroes comes out (made by Mattel) or if Diamond somehow licenses DC MM from Mattel and has Hasbro make them ... then I'm doomed !!! LOL
