Great job! Looks like air brushing is the way to go. I know it's been asked but what kind of paints are you using? Did you clear coat in any way?
Again, fantastic job. Best I've seen yet.

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone! Several people saw the pics but asked what materials I used so here goes: Mighty Muggs Template Gunze Sangyo Mr.Surfacer 1000 Gunze Sangyo Mr.Thinner Gunze Sangyo Mr. Color Character White(semi-gloss) Gunze Sangyo Mr. Color Character Red (semi-gloss) Gunze Sangyo Mr. Color Semi-Gloss Black Iwata HP-C Airbrush Iwata HP-C Custom Micron Airbrush Badger Cyclone II Compressor Tamiya Masking Tape Olfa Art Blades Sakura Micron Pens 005 black Tamiya Work Stand Mighty Muggs Hulk (the most common one out there ) Another person asked the process on how I did it: I used that mighty muggs template to initially rough draft the carnage, then after that I used Mr. Surfacer 1000 (bottle) to airbrush on the prime coat. After that I airbrushed the head white using Mr. Color Character White (semi-gloss) that was thinned with Mr. Thinner. I then masked off the eyes to cover the white. Then after that was complete, I airbrushed the entire thing red. After that I masked off all the pieces that i wanted red. After that was done, i Airbrushed the whole thing black, then took off ALL of the tape and got the finished product. Since Mr. Color is a lacquer based paint, I did not use a clear coat as these paints do not chip off as easy as acrylics. Just in case anyone was wondering, Mr. Color is imported paints from Japan that they use a lot out there especially on Gundams. They're actually banned here in the U.S. due to some type of material that's in these lacquer paints....These fumes are kinda strong so i also use a airbrushing hood in a well vented area along with a respirator mask. I order mine through www.rainbowten.co.jp

darn the process is way too complicated and seems too expensive for me to take on The process was not actually as hard as it seems. It's actually all the masking tape that took up all the time. I just covered the whole thing between spraying each color. And there were only three colors on this mugg used so spray time took only like 30 minutes altogether. All you need is patience cutting out the pieces where you want it and take off the excess and then spray away. Now my next challenge is coming up with some a little harder....like war machine....

One of the better custom muggs I've seen around. Very impressive, would pay $$ for it. Looking forward to see what else is cooking for the future.
